One of the most frequently asked questions I get is about the order of product application. What should I apply first, second, and last? Today, I will explain in a way you can easily remember. Just think that we’re moving from liquid to solid state!
1: Liquid – Toner
2: Gel – Gel or serum
3: Oil – Oils
4: Cream – Creams
5: Sunscreen
Sunscreen is the odd one out because it always comes at the end!
One more thing:
On the nose, just applying toner and sunscreen is enough. If you don’t use sunscreen, just use toner! The nose has plenty of oil, so it doesn’t need serums or creams. In many cases, products tend to clog things up and lead to enlarged pores.
