Best facial I have ever received! I get the “Japanese Shiatsu Stress Therapy facial.” Mayumi gives such personalized attention. She takes her time and I never feel rushed. She is an expert in her field and has so much knowledge to impart, as well as exceptional care. I can’t recommend highly enough.
Mayumi is an individual provider focused on skin care, not a do everything (none of it well) “spa”. She customizes each session for your specific needs. She has a quiet, calming presence. The face mask she applies is very unique, it tightens, warms and tingles as it dries – it must be experienced! While waiting for it to dry, she gives you a neck, foot, and hand massage. It’s very relaxing.
Mayumi is very kind and informative regarding skin care. She gave me a very thorough facial and took the time to explain everything to me. You can tell she takes tremendous pride in what she does. Thank you, Mayumi!
Mayumi has transformed my face! The photo of my skin at it’s worst was sometime in 2021. The photo of my clearer skin was taken just this past month. I have spent years going to dermatologists, trying over the counter treatments, at home treatments, and so much more. The only thing that has kept my breakouts under control have been the acne facials Mayumi provides. I have gone maybe 6 or so times now, and while I still have days where I have breakouts and will probably always have scarring (although she is helping it to fade!) my face will never look like it did again at it’s worst. I would recommend Beauty Within Skin Care to anyone suffering from adult acne. 5 stars!
